Thanks you guys! I went today and picked paint colors.
Which does count as my best thing. I know we are about a month away from moving... and I have so much to do. But I am thrilled.

Booked the hotel to go visit my mom around Christmas. Super excited to spend two nights with hubby in a hotel room and have two of the three pooches with us. Is it bad that I'm not so excited to see mom?

I may not have gotten any homework done this evening (which I reeeeeally need to do), but I did spin fire in the snow and it was AWESOME.
Actually, it was kinda dangerous because snow's slippery, but that just limited my movement.

Yesterday I broke my long no-gym dry spell and went and did some lengths in the pool and had a lovely steam in the steam room.
Today my friend picked me up and we went shopping in the afternoon. I got so many inexpensive nuts! Hazels, walnut pieces and flaked almonds for making florentines with. Whoopee!

I posted on FB, but I figure I'll post here as well since I'm literally smiling ear to ear and bouncing around in my chair at work: Wilson's visa interview date has been scheduled!!! He still has to get a medical exam and some other stuff, but PROGRESS. Then I'll file an I-601 waiver and hopefully it's approved and then he comes back home! I'm aiming for earlyish next year. I'm not sure how reasonable that is, so I'm tempering that with worst case scenarios, but thinking about the best case scenarios is much more fun! Like living in the same house as my husband!!! OH MAN.

Thanks, guys!! I'm just so giddy thinking about random every day things like how we'll be able to laugh at inside jokes, in the same house!! We'll get to go out to a bar together! (Ok, I'll try to reel it in a little.) OH! He'll be able to TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE! HA! Not sure if he'll be as excited about that one.

I decided to take an hour (!) long lunch break to come home and snuggle with my kitty. The most I ever take is 15 minutes, so this has been glorious. I do not want to get back in my car.

Even if not for snuggle-times? 15 mins is not enough!

Spent four hours with my friend's three year old without any preplanning and did not accidentally injure/maim/kill him. For people who know me with children, this is a really amazing thing. The best part is that it was mostly very fun. Then had an unplanned but brief grocery excursion with another friend who I have been needing to catch up with. So, really, good things all around.
Oh, and came home to a 6 pack of my favourite beer on the porch from a neighbour who's dog I watch in exchange for beer. Everything is coming up Milhouse!

I am indeed working a bit too much, but in anticipation of xmas and my wedding I just can't turn anything down. Plus I'm working so hard to prove my employer that I deserve a pay increase. Means to an end, hopefully.

Louzilla- I don't have words. I need that.
Best thing... hmm... today was just good. I mean, one, it was taco night. And I bought a veg magazine, and got paid, ordered my brother his new phone. I feel good about today.

Cleaned my house, and actually cooked myself food (instead of eating out). I feel very accomplished.

Hi PPK! I haven't been on much in the last couple of weeks due to horrible busy job. But I had a really nice thing happen at the end of today - got my reports back for my Honours thesis, and they were both really really positive and wonderful. My overall grade for the paper was 92! I'm so stoked! I've never gotten a mark that high for a paper (I guess this just goes to show what endless editing will do for one's writing). And both of the examiners, as well as my supervisor, really want to see me do a PhD in future!

Last night my guy and I met up spur-of-the-moment. I was having a really crabby day and he put me in such a good mood. He also shared his ancestry with me, which was really cool - he's distantly related to Squanto! I thought it was neat.
