My stomach is growling! I haven't been hungry since surgery so I'm sort of excited and mom is getting me some So Delicious ice cream soon that I'm gonna make smoothies with.

I had pretty bad DOMS from overtraining on Friday but after a long session with a foam roller it's easing up considerably. Also, Dick Dynamite and The Doppelgangers are playing a small venue in my city in February! YAY! I missed the chance to see them at Bedlam Breakout as I had no money, but this will be awesome!

I just preordered a brand new David Bowie album. I am nearly incoherent with happiness. I never in a million years thought I would see this day.
This is probably the best thing about my year.

I am wearing a very nice outfit which makes me feel nice, yoga this morning was really good, work is keeping me busy and interested, and I chatted with my bf and exchanged <3 and kisses. And it's only 11:40 am!

Just met my friend's son. He's a week old, super tiny, super cute and super vegan. Little dude has gained more weight than the dr.'s thought possible in a week thanks to his mom's awesome vegan breastmilk. Woo!

I just went to the post office and found a bonus check from my boss. Things have been pretty tough financially due to an injury that required multiple visits to an orthopedic surgeon and 7 months of physical therapy, and no health insurance. The check is enough to cover rent this month and make my credit card payment! He also sent each of my dogs a moose antler chew, which was very thoughtful.

Bought a house. For real. Papers were signed today.
We are in it and figuring our all the quirks about this fixer upper. I love it already. The cats are not that happy with the shift. One is hiding under the bed and the other will not get off of it.

I just ordered the most beautiful ear plugs. They're clear and full of liquid and blue glitter, like blue snowglobes! I needed some motivation to stretch my lobes further (one is 6mm and the other is 5mm) and this is it.
