That's lovely. I can't wait to see it when you are finished with the color.

I got a coffee in one hand, mimosa in the other, a sandwhich on the way, and none of it cost me a dime. Also get to chat with my BFF while she works. Luv her so.

Thanks for the nice words about gran ! 8ball wrote: I'm really pleased for your Gran, Paloma. Being unhappy in a nursing/residential home can really cause dementia sufferers to deteriorate so it's great that she's happy where she is :) My mum said that she might have been rather lonely at times when she was living by herself. And, that it's the daily schedule with a regular rhythm to it and the company of other people that's probably benefiting her a lot since she's out of her own house. Also, she'd sometimes skip meals because she forgot about them, and it is great that that's taken care of too. :) It's sad that gran needed to leave her house, but it seems that she's going to a place that's the best place for her to be under her circumstances, you know ? :)

I had 13 hours of sleep, and when I woke up, snow had covered the entire neighborhood. The best thing was that I don't need to go anywhere, so I stayed inside, planned a trip to see a friend in London and made muffins. <3

It snowed beautiful, big floaty flakes for an hour or so and I could look at it coming past the window and be happy, but it had all melted by the time I left work so I don't have to worry about roads being blocked. And there are little green shoots coming out of the flower bed I planted! Already! I can't wait to see how it turns out. And the moon is a sharp, shining sliver in the dark sky.
But possibly the best thing about today is that the next two days are my days off work, so tonight I don't have to worry about not getting to sleep. I am going to relax and watch a little bit of tv and then enjoy snuggling in bed, knowing I can sleep in tomorrow.

It was the first time in ages that I got (and managed) to sleep in like that. Upon waking up I felt like I had achieved something already, just by sleeping this long. I wish you a wonderful night and happy dreams as well !

I napped off and on with my kitty all day. I don't think it is particularly healthy that I am needing to sleep so much, but I am SO glad I took one day off in order to do so. Each time I woke up I had a panic attack that I was late for something, but then I realized, DAY OFF. Puddy was in heaven having me all to herself all day. It's 5:15 and I'm sleepy again, but I'm going to make a nourishing dinner and hope that I find some energy for my work week that starts tomorrow.

I'm still super happy today after having a nice low-key last night with a friend.
Best thing of today though... dinner! Red lentil dahl with roasted brussel sprouts and potatoes! I love having so much time to cook now, and I'm trying to not grocery shop hardly at all and just eat from my pantries and it's mostly working. The brussel sprouts were the first food I've bought in a week. And I have a pear (also bought today, but that's all I bought) for dessert.

Man, I should be taking notes from you sleepy types. I had a dream last night that I slept through both of my shifts at work. Even when I'm asleep I am freaking out about sleep! The best part of my day was actually finding the energy to cook a meal. And it was breakfast for dinner. Yes.

I spent the day be all decadent with my bestie. We spoiled our selves with awesome. It was joyful. Tonight there will be wine and reading and maybe making things.

We're moving! We've been planning for months but found out today he got a job out there and now we just need a house and someone to take over our lease here and to find a job for me out there and then we're in Montana! There's lots of logistical stuff to do but right now I'm just ecstatic. I'm almost afraid to get my hopes up in case I jinx it all but it's so awesome I can't help it.
