From The Daily Mail this afternoon:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -year.html

Perhaps the beginning of awareness on this hideous practice in the UK?

Holy shiitake that's awful.
I should not have clicked the link, now I can't finish my lunch for my stomach is unhappy.
I hope awareness grows, that practice needs to be banned.

Being vegan means I don't have to watch stuff like that.

I was hoping this was going to be something hilarious, about, for example, someone getting stuck on one of those moving walkways in an airport and then tripping and spilling huge shopping bags full of those canisters that when you turn them over they moo like a cow and then they were all rolling down the conveyor, mooing and mooing and mooing...

The reality was not hilarious at all. :(

That would have been a huge improvement! (and closer to what I imagined in my head too)

I did this too. I don't want to see shiitake like this, it's why I went vegan.
