Waiting for my tea to steep so I can drive a stake through the heart of Paper #2 today or tomorrow, then it's on to Paper #3. (After which comes a four week break in which I can cook, bake, hang out with friends, screw around on the PPK, and read whatever I want with no guilt whosoever!!!)

I cannot WAIT for this. I perused the new and noteworthy section of the library for like 20 minutes yesterday and got out 4 books, all of which are waiting patiently in a pile next to my bed. So excited.

You! I for one cannot wait to welcome you into the sleep-deprived, lifeless, self-pitying black hole of grad school! (No, seriously - it's awesome. We're not bad people, we just made a terrible life choice!)

Up at 2 am for some reason. As good a time as any to resume work on the things I need to do. Dissertation supervisor got back to me and requested three additional documents. As if I didn't have work this weekend or anything else to do. I'm not prepared at all. I'm not ready for this.

This semester has been an over-achievers' worst nightmare. My only "real A" was in Small Animal Nutrition, because Pharmacology, Bacteriology, and Pathology 2 destroyed my will to live and broke me down into a pile of mush.

I have basically finished my last paper. I just need to do some final editing and turn it in today before 3pm. Here's to being really truly almost done!

Congrats, Chipmunk!!!
I turned in my last paper, so MPH done!!!! It feels like forever ago that I started the program (2006) because I have been doing it part time. I am so happy to be finished. I might start crying.

I didn't know you were doing an MPH! Hurray for public health! and congrats!
Just reading through here I'm excited for all of you who are finishing up big papers just getting through the semester. This was my first one as a grad student, and I kind of got taken by surprise. I already have a study plan, complete with milestones and rewards (like ordering zoya polish) mapped out for staying on track.
Best of luck to whoever hasn't gotten grades back yet (that would be me, too). I did just get one major project grade back that rocked. I'm more glad about that one than any other single grade because it was a team project (well, a paired project) and I kept having major issues with things beyond my control. Screwing up my own grade would be bad...screwing up someone else's grade would make me leave school.

PhD done. Though I still need to wait for the bound copies to come back and the final rubber stamp.
