I had to make Daiya/veggie pizza after watching those pizza making videos that Isa and ff posted. I had to make falafel because of the tahini thread, and today I had to make a huge stirfry because someone was making a (vegetarian! with tofu!) stirfry on Matlock. What will come next...
Do you do this?

Delicious, but a little scary.

Also, I was trying to think of another word besides gullible, but couldn't come up with it...

Haha, yeah, I totally do this! Browsing the ppk and especially food porn (xxx!) are big determinants in what I eat.

Easily influenced?
Nothing wrong with that, beats the hell out of wondering what to eat.

Yes, I am very open to suggestion. Someone says pizza, I suddenly NEED pizza. I see a picture of some awesome cookies, I need to make cookies.

No worries! My girlfriend had vegan shawarma the other day at Green Veg and now I want to try making it at home. I really want a gooey Daiya pizza now, though! Vegan pizza pangs spread like wildfire.

I made pancakes last night in an attempt to help interrobang?! with the pancake issues.
I didn't even want pancakes or end up eating more than part of one.

I just thank the ppk for doing all my meal planning for me. If Desdemona doesn't stop describing kale goodness, though, I am going to turn green.

I was coerced into making tot salad after reading about an imaginary tot salad. The ppk is both brilliant and dangerous.

Exactly. I steal ideas from the PPK all the time. When it comes to food, Isa's word is law.

Did you know that 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary?

Hahahaha. It's like you never went to school.

Tell you what, while you're up could you run to the janitor's office and get me some elbow grease?

I'm very easily influenced. If you say "mmm I feel like mushrooms" my mind will go "I don't like mushrooms" and then my mouth will go "yeah, let's have mushrooms", and then I'll eat them, and my taste buds will go "mushrooms! yum!", even though... I'm pretty sure I don't like mushrooms? It's all so confusing.

God that reminds me of Angrylittlegirl. A youtube "meme before we had the word meme" from... three... years... ago... holy shiitake I'm old!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OruQy-X32O0

That's the video I mean, talking about being gullible. Looking back, I don't get why it was such a big deal.

Dear god, she's annoying.

The word "meme" has been around in internet terms since at least the LiveJournal heyday, the word itself since 1976 when Richard Dawkins invented it.
