cool! i kind of live on tofurkey slices. hickory is my favorite and, here's a tip, if you want a breakfast sammich with bacon you can fry up a few hickory slices and slice them into bacon strips and they totally do the trick!

There's just enough snow to make getting to work really difficult, but not enough to make the powers that be give us the day off.

I was once told that because I can walk to work, I don't get snow days. Two of my co-workers who come in together were an hour and a half late today because they live out in the country and got delayed by the snow. The one who drives was saying that the doors to both of their cars (hers and her partner's) were frozen shut, and then when they realised the one they got open didn't have any petrol, they had to pry the gas cap off.

Mike is playing the new Tomb Raider, and I'm finding it really entertaining.

I feel like a bisque, but I'm dreading my night classes now because two of the newer students smell like ashtrays. Even from across the room.

I've been getting migraines every class and have to wash my hair when I get home. It's so pervasive. And they go out to their cars to smoke during class once or twice, so they come in with even more smoke.

I don't want to sit next to them helping them with math. It's asphyxiating and then, within 10 minutes, the migraine starts and then I'm progressively more miserable all evening.

Also, I have a big, warm cardigan that I only wear here because it's ugly and it's freezing in this building. I only wear it 6 hours a week, but now it must be washed after each class.

Smokers make me so angry because nt being able to breathe properly is scary. I grew up like that and had constant migraines until I moved away from home, even though I never went to the family room areas. I never even knew what it was like to not have those constant low grade migraines because I never knew anything else, especially on car trips.

I'm really loving all of these PPK-isms. Crasshole, bisque, shiitake, what else am I missing? Did these just come about one day?

Smokers make me angry too, I'm also very sensitive to the smell. I don't get migraines but I feel so sick from the smallest of exposures. Totally hear ya on this one.

It's annoying when people write blogs from the "we" perspective when you know its just one person. Also when people tweet like they are talking to a huge audience and they only have 14 followers.

I have the hungry horrors today. I think I have eaten about 17 meals since lunchtime. I now have heartburn, but no regrets.

Haha, me too! I'm all about the peppered slices. Sometimes I'll make a proper sandwich with hummus and arugula or spinach, but mostly I just eat 'em plain.

I just applied for a job at Google. I don't understand why they haven't already begun blowing up my phone with job offers!

I just found out Kaley Cuoco has three rescue pits and now I'm jealous of her life.

That must be it!

Boyfriend says it's because the Googlers are all too busy enjoying their free food and beer and games. Also viable!



I would settle for even 1/3 of her life. Damn!

Speaking of Google, my dad is in utter alt that he appears on Google street view. He was wearing his lime green tee shirt so he really stands out (he loves neon colored clothing; we don't really understand it--it happened suddenly when he got old).

He went and put tags on it and everything. He has apparently been checking and checking ever since he drove next to the Google street car a couple months ago.

Today feels like it's never going to end!

Yesterday I woke up with a UTI, I had a fever too. In the afternoon I plowed myself through the snow for a job interview and computer tests. During the interview the electricity went out. I had to wait around for a while, then someone came to say they had no idea when it would work again and I should just go home. I can't take the tests online, I need to come back and it needs to be this week. Today they're open until 8 pm, so I said I would go there after work. Okay. Now, there's a massive amount of snow, and it took me 2 hours and 15 minutes to get to work. Lard knows what the situation will be like tonight.

And if I don't make it in time tonight, I'll need to take time off work AGAIN.

Splitting headache. Starting to think I might have done some damage by getting hit over the head with a dehumidifier. Think I need to quit cleaning the house.

Oof, I hope you get to finish that test/interview, fisticuffs! And that your UTI goes away soon.



They're automatic filters. Try out some swear words/derogatory language and see what happens! Of course, once you've been around here for a while you start using them in real life situations. (Or is that just me?)

Definitely not just you. I sometimes just type out the filter instead of the real word..

And someone talking about a flaky croissant or creamy bisque can send me into fits of giggles. And don't even get me started on shiitake soup.

I wonder if the kitchen spam knows who Wangari Maathai was.

i am so glad you said this, i thought i must have hallucinated that. what the fizzle!

Spent my morning calculating health expenses since Jan 2010 so I can claim back some money. In a few minutes I managed to lose my login pin to the revenue website so now I have to wait for them to send me out a new one. Hoping I will get enough money back to change my phone.

Also got a call from the bank. I should know this afternoon or first thing tomorrow whether I got approved for debt consolidation. If I do I will have be €150 better off per month.

There's a vegetarian food cart in Texas called Shiitake Swerve, and the ppk has made that so problematic for me!
