I haven't had weekends off for the past 4 years. After tomorrow, that is over with! Eeeeee!

Okay so after a walk in the sunshine to the Goodwill and the purchase of some sweet LPs, and then to the grocery store for some creamer so I could make myself an iced coffee... I feel so much better. Doing some neato embroidery, listening to some rip-roaring charleston music, windows open, nice breeze...

Well I went to a place where they only have the So Delicious coconut one, but my favorite is the Wildwood soy one.

I'm like 99% sure I'm quitting my job on monday. I got yelled at AGAIN by my boss today, and I am just forking over it already. Like I literally cringe when I see his car parked in the parking lot in the morning because it means he's there and is going to be pissed off about something. Because he is always pissed off about something.

Who wants to hire me?!

In less than two weeks I will have PPKers arriving for my wedding! julialegume, jdfunks, mabelstone, and katiejayne will all be coming to hang out and eat vegan food at my wedding! I am so stoked. Thank you PPK for four of my BFFs.

Everyone please stop me from buying another cookbook. I don't even use the ones that I have and I'm supposed to be saving money up and I just got a sad paycheck and it'll be two weeks until I have a decent one again.

we went to dinner at friends' house... and somehow the conversation turned to "which celebrity would you like to meet?" I couldn't really think of anyone at first, and then I realized that everyone I could think of was a vegan. Apparently, I only want to meet vegan celebrities. Those other celebrities can buzz off.

Another weekend worker here! I've worked Sundays for 15 years and I think I've been working both Saturdays and Sundays for something like 8 years? Only four more weeks to go, though! (And I got today off for the PPK meetup in The Hague!)

Actually, I'm a liar, I have museum Saturday work until the 20th of April. THEN I'm free and clear (unless they need me for more Saturday work). But I like my museum job, so.

Last night was great. It was my last Friday night and I waited on most of my favorite regular tables and totally milked the 'It's my last Friday night!' bit and made twice as much as I should have, because my regulars are awesome. I got to gush about how much I love my gallery job and how I think I've finally found my calling in life (yay!) and how happy I am. It was cool. I hope that I see more of my favorites tonight for my actual last shift.

Also, morning sex is the absolute best way to start your day.

I vowed that I would not shop for clothes again until April, as I have an expensive vacation coming up and needed to save/cut down on expenses. I am weak and caved - this morning spent $80 at the second hand shop. I am so disappointed in myself

thought i'd try out the pink shadow in my elf palette because it sort of matched my sweater. MISTAKE. it's just bringing out all the magenta tones in my eyebags.

So, for my last shift ever at the pizza joint I'm working with my 3 favorite co-workers, which is awesome, but I have a tshirt with the logo on it, my favorite one, it's a light purple vneck, and on the back, I painted in huge black letters: LAST SHIFT EVER and it looks awesome and I'm so excited for everyone to see it. I've been holding myself back from instagramming it, I just love it SO MUCH.

I hate applying for jobs. I hate writing cover letters. I hate that I never get called.

EMPLOYMENT IS STUPID AND A JERK.

And the problem is that since I'm not just desperate for a job, since I have one, and there's a lot to love about my job even with all that I hate about it, it's really hard for me to just apply for anything that kind of matches my interests... I'm really only applying for "yes, this, this is what I want for sure and this is the direction in which I am attempting to take my career!" so I have so much more invested in every application I send out.

I have over the course of this day managed to demolish an entire head of cauliflower. +5 vegan points? Or something?

I think that makes you an automatic level 6 vegan, if you're not already.

the other day I cut up a roasted an enormous head of cauliflower, and proceeded to eat the entire thing, in one sitting, for lunch. it was awesome.

I was doing that for weeks during the summer when they had cauliflower on sale. I made some much gobi manchurian!

I am really thirsty and all I have is the water tap and some sparkling water. You know what? I don't want water. My life is tough sometimes.

I have that problem all of the time so I finally bought some of that flavor liquid for water today.

I could do that but, y'know, effort and all of that crazy stuff.

I have a few fruit flavoured herbal teas that make for a nice cold drink. They're good when I'm on a serious no sugar kick and need something fruity.

Ohhhh I have a red berry tea that could do rightly! I actually haven't had anything to drink yet but mostly because I forgot I was thirsty.

I love my job- today was just plain weird, so my coworker bought a bottle of wine and we sat in the office after hours and drank it all together.

That sounds like a lot of fun missdelaney!

SJ... I find peppermint tea left to cool down to room temperature is lovely. It feels like I have having an ice-cold sweet drink.
