yeah, i plan to say yes, but it's not coming easily. i don't think she knows i'm vegan; maybe when i tell her she'll let me out of it. it just feels extra weird, because i've seen her once a month for about four years and we've never had a conversation that went beyond the smallest of small talk--you know, "hey, how have you been? how about that rain? i like your dress/haircut," that sort of thing--and a dinner party seems sort of intimate. she has my phone number because she's the contact person for my shift, but i didn't give her my number; when i saw that she was calling, i didn't answer because i assumed it was a mistake or a butt dial or something. i'm always a little suspicious when someone wants to be my friend for what seems like no reason, because when i was growing up that sort of overture tended to be the beginning of an elaborate and particularly cruel prank, so i'm probably overthinking things, but it just doesn't seem, like, natural. i don't know. it seems like she has a fairly broad circle of friends, but maybe she's on a meeting-new-people kick or something.

I was just about to complain about how cold it is and question why the heat doesn't seem to be doing any good when I realised that I left the window of Zebby's room open because he has the stinkiest poops and doesn't cover them. I hope the room is properly aired now because I'm too cold to leave the window open any longer.

Ha, I think I recently used the word 'affect' more than anyone ever should in a post in the relationships thread. I couldn't think of any other way to put it! Also, here's hoping she's selling you KAPOPANS, because that would be awesome.

I have been in such a haze all day. I feel like I'm finally coming out of it, but it's just felt like my skin doesn't fit or something. Shaky hands, stumbling feets, head in the clouds, weird tummy rumbles, general weird and antsy feeling, and feeling like I've forgotten something but there really can't be anything...I don't think...? I just feel kind of stupid. Bleh.

Ugh, I hate that feeling allularpunk! I usually take a nap, but that's my typical solution to most problems, and a lot of times it just makes me groggy. Wednesday I was feeling anxious and did a yoga class and that helped though! Maybe something physical? Or make a list of everything you're supposed to being doing/remembering? Sandwich?

<3 <3 <3 I am eating a sandwich at this very moment. I thought about taking a nap, but I had coffee earlier in order to try to clear my head (just made me feel worse!), so no sleep til Brooklyn for me. I'm also going to do my meal plan for next week (cookbook challenge, yay!) and if that + sandwich doesn't work, I'm gonna do some pilates.

I think that it's happening because I've had a week with very little work, so my schedule is messed up and I'm not used to having this much free time, and I've had kind of a crappy week, which was disappointing because I had Big Plans for all this awesome stuff that never happened. And then I drank too much last night and I'm feeling a little delirious about how great my guy is and it's just distracting and annoying (even though it's awesome, too).

More sandwich now.

So tired. Wish my shopping was here so I could head to bed already.

I have been really sensible and prebooked my parking as it means I am now paying half price for a full day of parking right in the middle of the city centre. Also, I know the way to this place and I shouldn't get lost which will totally decrease my chances of having an anxiety attack.
