If you add sweetener and vanilla, it's like whipped cream. If you add some vinegar and maybe some oil, it's like sour cream. If you add tofu, herbs and garlic, it's ricotta. I just bought some cashews! Definitely going to have to play with this week's dinners. -Savory hummus and sweet hummus. Hummus on pizza, hummus on toast, hummus with wraps and veggies, hummus on fingers? My farmer's market hummus man is the greatest. -Also, "Special Sauce for Vegetarians" (that's the translation on the bottle, the rest is Vietnamese and beyond me) It's my cheat for all things Thai asking for fish sauce, though the taste varies widely from brand to brand I've found.

Making a ton of different flavored seitan on the weekend and freezing it for later. Great for sammiches, quick stir frys, pasta meals, etc. because it's awesome to skip that one extra step when you're really ready for supper after working 8 hours.

Not being able to get vitalite here any more had just ruined my nooch on toast until I tried this tonight with pure. It is soooo good! After grilling it a bit I spread some chopped tomatoes & a little salt over it and put it back in for a while, yum yum in my tum! <3 But now I want to go back and make two more slices O.O

I've tried that vegweb one and it's okay, but they should really be titled Microwave Banana Brownies since banana is the dominant flavor in em.
