Yeah, I know, I am crazy. I keep saying it is for the baby cause he likes lights. It's really cause last christmas/megamas sucked and I am going to make this year awesome. And if you must have an artificial tree you may as well put it up.

Massaging the dog's butt with my foot while I'm singing, and wondering when I can go upstairs and read to sleep. I did the free demos of Rosetta Stone in four different languages and now I'm pissed that I can't afford the program.
I DID have plans...but then the dog looked sad so I stayed home with her.

Yup, did some groceries, did a load of laundry, watched the last 15 minutes of "Two Weeks Notice" and talked to biker boy on the phone. Wild 'n' crazy, mmm hmm.

Baked a lot of cookies. And a friend stopped by for like 5 minutes. To get cookies.

It's almost Saturday night here, but I spent my Friday night teaching Boyfriend how to make sausage rolls, then watching Arrested Development while eating said sausage rolls. I had big plans to make curry tonight, but we just came back from a late picnic and it's hot, so instead I'll probably just have beer for dinner. And more Arrested Development.

I had a super odd Friday night, I was supposed to help out with an event at my school, but when I got there I was told to go home because I looked super sick, so I went home and fell asleep at 4pm, then woke up at midnight and I have since read an entire book. I am about to make tots and start on the second book in the series. I have a part to go to tonight (Saturday) but I will probes leave early to do work.

My Friday night was so Wild 'N Crazy I missed this thread. I went to bed around 9:30 because I was really tired and sore from a 10 mile run yesterday. I live it up.

I always try to do those logic puzzles and end up feeling like a dumbpants. Are there any easy ones, or tips for getting better at them? We used to have to do them in school and I would get sooooo frustrated.

i never do anything wild and/or crazy on friday nights, or any other night. i strongly approve of logic puzzles; i have a bunch of books of word problems and such, but i go through them pretty quickly. crypotograms are probably my favourite.

I am amazing at word puzzles! It's just the logic ones. I feel like there's some trick that I just haven't figured out yet and I want to know what it is!

I fell asleep on the couch about 10. This was after a 2.5 hour afternoon nap. I'm wild.

We took my grandpa to Olive Garden, because it's the only place he'll go where we have any hope of finding something to eat. He used to be okay with going to Macaroni Grill, but last night he called it "that vegetarian restaurant" (?!) and said he wouldn't go there.
Anyway, did you know that you can't get olives at Olive Garden? True story.

I went to Whole Foods and walked around for an hour. I spent over $30 on things I don't really need.

OMG there is a Buffy game for xbox?! I must get it!
I took a sick day yesterday because I've been so stressed out and overwhelmed that I was afraid I was going to have a nervous breakdown if I didn't do something about it. So I took the day off, slept in until 10, went to IKEA and Target and Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, then I came home and I spent ALL DAY cleaning and making my apartment nice. I feel like for once I actually live here! I only have one box left to unpack, there's actually food in my kitchen (not just condiments and takeout leftovers), and I have pictures on my walls and a new rug and pillows for my couch... It's just wonderful.
I was up until 1AM making my apartment nice and clean and my space. I even organized all the cables for my media center and my desk and bundled them up and ziptied them together and it's wonderful.
I finished up by drinking a glass of wine and watching Buffy. It was wonderful.

Sure enough, I played video games on the internet with a friend in Boston and my brother in Portland. It was actually pretty awesome. We make a good team.
