Cocktail, takeout, last.fm CCR station with the Man and Cat. Life is a-okay by me

Just sitting here thinking about how much I don't want to go out with friends tomorrow, but I kind of have to, because I haven't seen any of my friends since before christmas. I am such a hermit.

^I'm having my friends over next weekend for dinner, and I haven't seen them since November. I'm a hermit too. I'm excited to see them though, it's always like I just saw them yesterday whenever we get together.

Tonight, I'm trying to get a bit of writing done and I guess it's not going so well if I'm here. I'm okay with slacking a bit though because I'm mighty tired tonight and have been working hard. Plus I get to meet PPKers for brunch/lunch tomorrow!!!!!

7:30 and I'm falling asleep on the couch. It has been a very, very long and stressful week.

Putting old home movies onto youtube so I can share them with my cousins. We were all so adorable when we were little!

i just got back from seeing Skyfall for the first time!! (we have a little movie theatre that shows movies quite a long time after they've come out-- you can get movie, popcorn, and soda for $5.) it was sooooo bad! and sooooo cheezy! and it was great!! what a great bond movie!!
ETA: oh, and it's snowing outside and i'm going to read for a while and snuggle with my pups and turn out the lights in a bit so i can wake up early.

Psych & pizza after a failed eggplant parm disaster.

I started watching a Tale of Two Sisters but couldn't finish it because I got freaked out.

Accidentally left my big non stick pan on a burner until it was smoking, the top had turned white and the handle started to melt. Left the butternut squash in the oven too long an ended up having to cut the black bits off each damn square before I could make my casserole. Then accidentally left the pot from the sauce on the burner, but it was at least set super low.

I went to bed at 8:45 and gave up on life.

Thank you! Tonight I worked and then caught up with the rat rescue community that I moderate but have been neglecting. But I can look back at yesterday's crepe and laugh because it was just all so bad.

oh dont tell me i am the only one!!!!

i came home from (one) work at 930pm.
then did TWO translations and sort of started drinking during the first one. it is now midnight and i am eating forking vegan generic pringles. it is a testament to my awesomeness that i can be this slathered a) in such as short time and b) still type at lightning speed.

It's 11:00 and I think I might just go to bed. The only productive thing I did today was mending the police dog's purple dinosaur toy. It ripped last week and I took it away for repairs but didn't get around to it until tonight. He was happy to get it back and has been cuddling with it all night.

I made a tofu bean bag. I was going to make an eggplant one, too, but I've decide that one bean bag was enough excitement for tonight.

I went for a run after work, ate a whole box of mac and chreese, and will probably be asleep by 10.

watched moonrise kingdom. i know it's not especially vegan of me, but i'm super jealous of those beetle earrings.

I'm too sore from extra workday and 3 hr drive home, so I'm skipping dinner because I can't bear the thought of trying to get up the stairs. Starting to rethink since I haven't eaten today beyond a smoothie at 5am, but my wild and crazy is being a motionless blob all evening.

Molly is pissed because I stood her up for Friday night. She keeps calling for me in her loud voice that I can hear all he way here. Or did until she went o bed. I'll be in trouble tomorrow.

I got off work (which was dreadful), bought a 6 patch and am making sweet potato fries. The neighbor kids wandered in to say hi, since my front door is open. I am thinking about sitting on the porch & writing, but I need a bit more time to decompress.

Guys. I had two glasses of wine and am thinking about doing more homework. Tell me not to do more homework.

I've been sick since Sunday and now I have cramps in addition to that.

So far I am drinking tea and on the internet.

I had a friend over for dinner, which was amazing, and, wine, and now I'm waiting on my manfriend to come over and bring more wine, because, wine.

i had to go back into work for a quick minute and i scared myself, believing that there was a ghost... still, i feel like i've evaded an imminent danger.
