Can I crawl in bed with you, because this sounds like my idea of a good time at the moment.

So far I've spent all day working on finishing my part of a group paper and presentation. My stuff is done, but I expect I'll spend much of the evening helping put final touches on the whole thing.

Other than that, I'm going to work on my thesis/cry about it. IT IS GOING TO BE GREAT

I start work on a show tomorrow for 3 days so I'm in a crepe hotel room, eating chocolate and watching breaking bad on Netflix. I think that was £3 for wireless well spent. In other news, I'm irritated that I had to pay £3 for 24 hrs of wireless internet.

I stayed somewhere recently where it was £14.99 for 24 hours. Madness! The hotel I'm in right now has free wifi and I have 4 desserts which is pretty wild & crazy!

Fell asleep myself trying to get R to sleep (at 9). It's midnight now and I'm hungry!

Right now I'm hanging out with cats, then I have a few pet sitting jobs and a dog walking then bed time.

Borrowed a car to pick up groceries and cat food. Picked my husband up after work, put groceries away. We then had frozen spinach pizza and broccoli for dinner with decaf coffee while watching two, instead of our regular one episode of Cheers. It is now 7 pm and we have crashed in bed, doing a bit of mindless surfing. We will no doubt be asleep by 9pm. This is actually more exciting than usual for us.

edited because I had typed surfacing instead of surfing, which might have made our night seem more interesting than it really is.

Went for a hair cut. Came home, ate dinner, watched Project Runway. Woo.

I am at home drinking cheap wine which was fairly chill but then my roommate came home with her chinchilla who apparently had a stroke today and she is super upset. So, less chill, more sad.

Last night I was the last of the group that got home and to bed. I sustained an unexplained knee injury during the course of the night. I fell over on my upstairs landing and bashed my arm against the door frame of the spare room and nearly collapsed because I didn't realise I was having a bit of a hypoglycemic attack (I thought I was only having the usual late night cravings for food).

And I was also stone cold sober. Reason why I was up so late was I dropped everyone else home.

oh no daisychain, i hope your knee is ok. i've been getting some weird tweaking in one of mine (i think) from some biking accidents i had years ago and it's not pleasant.

my friday night consisted of dropping in at another league's roller derby practice, and then going out for late night food and beer with the team. i was pleased to see their regular haunt had marked vegan options - i had a curry squash/smoked tofu quesadilla and it was divine!

There is a bruise there so I must have bashed it on something at some point. Anyone would think there was something other than a slice of lemon in my water last night!

So much wine! And hours on the phone with old friends tonight. Good times.

Tea and Park Chan-Wook films. It's after midnight but I'm not ready to sleep yet because I want ramen, which we don't have.

Whisky doesn't help with preparing a presentation nearly as much as one might think.

Home with the cats. Filled up on french fries. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Setting up new iPad! And happily ignoring the concept of fiscal responsibility until next month!

Today kind of sucked though, other than that.

Got off work at 9:15, went home and roasted the shiitake out of some veggies and am now eating them. And drinking wine.

Doesn't get much better than roasted veggies and wine. Unless you have jelly donuts for dessert.
