You should ask her if there are going to be any vegan options at the wedding. You know, for the hi-larious hijinks.

So you can have a great time at the wedding and pretty much shun her all you want. Go and have a blast! Living well is the best revenge and all that. This is true enough. At the last wedding I went to I don't even think I met the bride (the groom was a high school friend of biker boy's and I met him.)

I'm going to have to second the unflattering photos.
Good God, how on earth is H going to put up with that one for the rest of his life? Is he a tad daft?

Reminds me of my sister's ex. I thought he was anti-vegetarian when he tried to argue with me about eating meat, but when a few months later he tried to argue with me about school funding (which is not something either of us care passionately about) I realized he was just an asparagus.
It amazes me, though, people like this do find someone to marry them (at least for a short while). I say get drunk at the wedding and have fun!

Interesting choice of mate, H! There is of course a chance that she's grown up in the last year/got over some of her insecurities and become more pleasant to be around. If not, getting drunk and leaving early seems like a great solution.

yeah, you wont have to interact much during the wedding with B (does it stand for bisque, by the way?) but still I assume you want to check with her beforehand the vegan options, right? Sounds like a whole lot of hilarious posts to come.

I vote for wearing something hideous and photobombing all the official wedding photographs.

It's going to be Clif bars and stiff drinks for me. fezza wrote: I vote for wearing something hideous and photobombing all the official wedding photographs. I like the way you think!

Just make a donation to a Farm Sanctuary in her name.

I'm hoping hard for you for an open bar. And if there IS anything vegan to eat, load your plate up. Grab that loaf of bread or the tray of crudites.

Good luck! Its nice of you to be so supportive to your partner. If she doesn't like JJ, then I guess once they are married, you won't have to see much of her anymore.

This is amazing. How many sad, broken beings there are out there. I second everything in this thread! You are fantastic!
