The Bad Astronomer crunched the numbers a while back and came to the conclusion that there's around one rogue planet per cubic light year (I think...my memory might be a bit off).
That means that there's probably an extra-solar rogue planet closer to us than the nearest star!
Although still super far away. Super far, you guys.
