Since Brian said to start a new thread if we want to do more than inform the ppk of our name change, lets talk in more detail about our names here.

My name is the bacteria that makes tempeh happen. I always felt like I didn't take the time to be creative enough with my old name, but now I'm having second thoughts. This name doesn't feel like me and the old one did!

I'm not 100% sure that I want to go back to the old name either though. I had well over 2000 posts and two years as Arugula, and I'm only at I think 13 posts and one day as Rhizopus Oligosporus, so maybe I just need a bit of time to adjust.

I just changed the spelling a bit to what I view the pronunciation to be, hopefully it looks enough the same that I don't fall out of people's memories without even leaving... ._. (I live in fear of things like that).

No, I'm definitely not looking for suggestions for a new name. It's either bravely keep the new one, or pathetically beg to go back to the old one.

Well, you see, it's all about personal branding, creating an internet persona that lets the consumer...um...I like my name. So it stayed the same. Really, I shouldn't even be posting in here. But I'm already breaking rules and taking names. Or, um, not breaking rules and keeping my old name. Same thing really.

Also: love that there are buttons that insert code.

Don't love that I'm limited to 60000 characters per message. How will I ever go on long-winded diatribes now?!

I tried to spell epiphany phonetically.

I recently learned that epiphany is dtbk's favorite word.
