Hi Isa, I joined your forum today to give you a big, heartfelt Thank You! A year ago my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. He was quite overweight at the time, but relatively young to have a disease with long-term serious consequences. After doing a great deal of research he decided to cut out all saturated fats, since animal fats have been linked to insulin resistance. So, this is where you come in! I am the one who cooks for my family, and while I was no stranger to international and vegetarian cooking, I hadn't done much vegan cooking before. I found your cookbooks online, and have never looked back. My husband marvels at how he thought giving up meat and cheese would be torture, yet he has never felt deprived. A year later he has lost 75 lbs and his bloodwork has returned to pre-diabetic levels. Your cookbooks made this journey much easier and more enjoyable than either of us could have imagined. So, once again, thank you! You have been a life changer, and possibly even a life saver :-) -Jo

This is great! I'm so glad it worked out well for your family. Did you use Appetite for Reduction a lot?

That sounds awesome :) I don't know how I would've gone vegan without Isa but its been over 8 years.
