Hey! That monkey is in Sao Paulo here in Brazil!! It didn't fall down, it was built that way. i can't get your link to open FF, but the designer of the piece's site has info and links here http://www.florentijnhofman.nl/dev/project.php?id=171 and there is a making of video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HMcR-rZ ... re=related that is good if you turn the sound off. The flip flops look like crepe BUT i stand corrected- the artist was sponsored by a flipflop maker, i can't tell which one from first glance, but those ugly shoes are supposed to be promoting their brand. Yikes. I can't find anything interesting in english about it but an article and interview with the artist are here http://noticias.r7.com/sao-paulo/notici ... 01104.html for anyone willing to fire up google translate.

It did look suspiciously intact for something that large which has fallen. One would expect flip-flops to be scattered all over the forking show.
