I'm so excited!



I got a scooter earlier this year, to help me warm up to the idea of a motorcycle, and had so much fun riding around that I planned to upgrade next spring. However, this came along and it was too good of a deal to pass up. It's a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 (2008). I'm only 5' tall so it was challenging to find a bike (that wasn't a 250) that actually fit me but this one does so yay!

Sadly, I just had surgery on Monday so I won't be able to ride it for a while.

niiiiiice! Good choice too when you are not that tall... I have a naked bike from Kawasaki and I find it easier to find clothes for me as to go with it... does that make sense? It always seems to me that for choppers (do you call those the same?) like yours you need leather stuff...

Awesome bike! I briefly had a Suzuki Savage 650. I understand the plight of finding something that fits your body type. I have short legs, so it was practically impossible to ride my dad or brother's bikes. I was really excited when I found this one.
Unfortunately, I sold it shortly after I got it so that I could go on a BNL cruise. Totally worth it, though.

this makes me thankful for being tall! i've got a 1978 yamaha 650xs.
