Thank you so much! I am anxious over details and people pouring in (only about 30, but still!) this week. There is a shitstorm at my work right now and I have broken down more times than I care to admit because I just can't deal with both things at the same time. I cannot wait until we are at ameyfm's relative's B&B Saturday night!

I've also had a loss of appetite lately but I SO want to eat the amazing Indian food from the caterers. I will be that bride shoving her face rather than talking to anyone. Suits me just fine. :)

Vijita, it will be great. Mr Moon and I put an offer on a house about a week before our wedding and a few days before I hit a car in a parking lot, so I hear you about the stress! Try not to let things overwhelm you and look forward to the amazing food :)

Eeeeeeeeeee! It's going to be so great, vijita. Everything you've planned sounds so special and charming. I hope your week is low(ish) stress and that you have an amazing time on Saturday.

I done got hitched! I have exactly one photo, but hopefully more will trickle in. Everything went perfectly and I'm not even exaggerating. What really, really touched me the most is that we invited the perfect amount and crowd of people. There were an average of 3 people from every walk of my life thus far (childhood, grad school, current work, PPKers even! I had my American Quartet of jdfunks, katiejayne, julialegume, and mabelstone, and family, Jay's friends, etc) which was a perfect number of people at 36. Everyone in the room met and talked and so many people told us how blessed were to have a room full of such interesting and positive people. We felt so fortunate! My parents did the round and had conversations with everyone, because they didn't know many of my recent friends, and my mum wants to adopt julialegume and my dad even had a long conversation with Jay's weird friend who wore a (fake) raccoon tail and asked us for a ride to his gig after the wedding.

Thanks guys! Oh there is this too. We had succulent planters on the big tables and on the little tables you can see black cat vases (a tribute to our Madame Puddington) with succulent displays.

Aww congrats vijita!!

I just ordered my cakes - decided not to go for a traditional cake because bleh, fruitcake. Instead ordered a Double Chocolate cake, a Strawberry Gateau and a Black Forest cake from the vegan cakery...who are actually so nice!

And I have a dress fitting tomorrow and I have my shoes! Eeee! It's all getting close and I'm very excited.

Now I just gotta hope this damn acne breakout I'm having doesn't happen on the wedding day!

Congrats! I was so nervous until the rehearsal, but everything fell into place so perfectly.

Gross! Fruitcake is traditional in the UK? Yeah, you made some better choices. Have so much fun!

Yeah fruitcake with white icing is traditional here. Our grandmothers have complained that we're not having any so we are debating buying a teeny tiny one just for the two of them :p
