eta: They're the same!!! But, I actually had Thai curry for dinner.

Yeah, turns out it's grown on me, plus it has nice variations such as Dubs and Dubz.

Here is a fun, introductory fact about me: when I was two I was staying at my aunt's house. I went to the bathroom and took foreeever, so my aunt came in to check on me and found me slumped over asleep on the toilet. She did what any good aunt would do and ran to get her camera. Unfortunately the picture has apparently been lost to the ages. Alas!

I registered just so no one else could get their grubby paws on my username and appropriate my personal brand. Took years of arch dismissiveness to get here and I'm not gonna part with such a legacy. That's pretty much it.

Have been enjoying The PPK as a guest for quite a long time, and now seemed the time to come out of the guest/lurker closet.

Oh hi! I'm jojo & I was jojo on original PPK too, I do have a snazzy new avatar (inspired by Desdemona) which I feel sums up my ridiculousness more than badgers ever did. I'm tired because I just got back from Vienna this afternoon, I'm wearing my pyjamas and I just had take out for dinner.

Also, I am mildly irritated that my husband joined the new forums as Mr Jojo a whole minute before I managed to register!

Oh, hello! I don't know that I ever posted in the original intro thread. I was going to change my name but then got over-excited about being able to join this brave new world before I had a chance to think of one, so here I am. I just got in from having dinner with another ppk-er who I hope hasn't gotten lost trying to find her way back to the station. I had the aubergine bake. Now I just need to find a new avatar.

Long time lurker, rare poster. I've resolved to post more but we'll see how long that lasts. I've been a Papa Tofu kick lately. For lunch I had Stuffed Tofu Pockets and a Grandma Millie's Oh Henry bar. Thank you Kittee!

My kids spelled out "Mom loves tofu" on the refrigerator with the alphabet magnets the other day. I was so proud.

I went vegan 4 years ago and I love it. Yay VEGAN! I've always loved baking sweets, even though sugar+wheat+and fat = bad digestion for me. I also love anything fried (that's vegan), so I absolutely love tater tots.

Hi. I originally registered because that was the only way you could use the search function. I really like reading posts and looking at food pictures, but I'm not much of a forum-posting person myself. The new forum looks great, though! Sometimes, my entire dinner will be nothing but tater tots with sriracha ketchup. Healthy!

Pretty stoked for the new boards. I don't think I ever posted on the old ones--simply lurked around a bit. It can be a little intimidating to just jump into a well established community.
