Hello! I'm Ashley and I also live in Indiana. I am a college student going for a degree in journalism. I am a state pageant titleholder and I will be competing for an international title in Chicago this summer. My personal platform is domestiv violence - awareness and prevention. Other than that, I am a freelance writer, blogger, and hula hoop dancer in training.

Hello, I am Dalek. I've been raised a herbivore, but just started learning how to experiment with my own recipes. I live in Florida and I've been checking out this website for a little while now, thought I would legitimately join. As for tater tots....I only like the mini ones, covered in garlic pepper.

Hi, I'm new here and new to veganism. I have been a vegetarian off and on my whole life and have just embraced veganism. It is not what I thought at all! I was excpecting to feel deprived but instead I've discovered lots of healthy recipes and my taste buds have woken up! I have had almost no cravings for forbidden foods. I supose I'm still transitining in that I am following a vegan diet but don't yet have a fully vegan lifestyle, (ie. I have not been able to bring myslef to give away my leather shoes... I can deal with not buying new ones, but those are my shoes). Anywho all told I'm doing well in the transition to a fully plant based diet. I bought vctotw and vpits because part of my loving my vegan diet is still being able to eat treats, and that's how I found this forum. I'm loving the vibe here thus far.

Hello! I am 17 years old and living in Vienna, Austria (and I am a vegan, of course). While searching the web for sites about veganism and classic men's wear, I stumbled upon this thread. My main interests are politics, sociology and philosophy, probably because I am attending a secondary college for electrical engineering and the aforementioned topics only play a minor role in the curriculum. Cheers, irgendwas

Hi other newbies! I've been lurking here for a couple of years but finally caved in and decided to register! I've been vegan for about 10 years now, and am currently back in the UK after living in Japan for the last 5 and a bit years. I'm hoping to go back to university and train to become a Registered Dietitian since the NHS is obviously still so ignorant of veganism!

Hi everyone! I'm Katie or quix (whichever you prefer). I'm new to the vegan lifestyle, and so far I'm enjoying trying new recipes and learning more about healthy eating. I'm a school photographer by day and a future bestselling novelist by night - though I'm still trying to educate people to that latter part. :)

I'm Jess. I am a new vegetarian, hoping to go mostly vegan. I was told this is pretty much the best site out there for vegan cooking, so here I am. I work for an online marketing firm. I am married. I have a one-and-a-half year old child and two cats. Hi!

Bonjour all :) I came in search of vegan recipes that will work with the Eat To Live regime. I have been an incredibly badly behaved diabetic and when I found ETL I learned that adopting his principles I stand a fabulous chance of no more needles. So my plan is to get my vegan on and eat ground flax seed like no one is watching :)

Hi I am Tessa (that's "asset" backwards. cool, huh). I was given Vegan with a Vengence by my mother in 2007 or 2008 and have been madly in love with Isa and Terry ever since. Not them, I guess, but their books. I have them all. I also have built up a reputation amongst family/friends/co-workers as someone who can bake amazing cookies/cakes/cupcakes/slices/pies/dessert thingys. People say WOW how do you do it, you are amazing. I tell them no, it is not me who is amazing, it is Isa and Terry that are amazing. I now have a hobby, being baking, which brings me much joy, and dishes to wash. And no animals get hurt in the process. Except me, when I burn or cut myself in the kitchen. Or if I step on the dog when she gets under my feet. But she gets to lick the floor for crumbs so it's a win win situation really.
