I recently started a pretty great new job and I want to send a thank you gift to the sourcing company who found me and got me hooked up with the position, but I'm not sure what to send!

I'm not interested in flowers or a plant because there are a few people that helped me along the way, and an Edible Arrangement seems kinda cliche. If it's food, I would obviously prefer it to be vegan, but something that is universally enjoyable. Although it doesn't have to be food. I'm stumped.

Have you ever sent or received an interesting (or useful) thank you gift?

Maybe a little variety of gift cards that they could share, tucked in a thank you card? If there is a Starbucks nearby, you could do enough for a "coffee run". SB cards are my favorite teacher gift. My least favorite is anything work related (admin loves giving us pencils and post its for teacher appreciation week).

I would probably do food. Like the local vegan bagels, donuts, or cupcakes, etc.

Cupcakes or cookies. If they aren't available local and vegan just bake a batch or two and put them into a tin with a thank you card for the office.

I agree with either coffee gift cards or cupcakes/cookies. Those are always delicious and nice pick-me-ups! And if you bake your own, they feel SO DAMN THOUGHTFUL and so even if they don't want the cupcakes, they'll be touched in a way that other gifts don't, because of the effort involved. At least, that's how I tend to feel.

Agreed re: home baked cookies etc because of the extra effort (and deliciousness), but also don't overlook the power of a handwritten, heartfelt thank you note!
