My not-exactly-vegan pet peeve of the day: Photobucket has changed their policy, so my millions of delightful images will no longer show up on the PPK! That was my legacy!

ah photobucket did that to me one day, they suddenly decided i had to pay for it so now I pay something like $1.50 a month so that the pictures on my old blog posts are still visible. I don't even use it anymore though to host blog photos.

Years ago someone hacked my Photobucket account and posted porn on it and Photobucket closed the account and wouldn't let me reopen it because it was somehow my fault that someone else posted porn on it.

Actually I just searched and found the email, from 2007. I sure was a snot to them!

Quote:
Me:
My account was hacked -- I didn't post the photos. No one reads these emails, do they?

Photobucket:
Yes, but the account holder is solely responsible for content uploaded to their account. The account must remain banned. If you desire an account with us you will need to use a different email address.

Me:
It could be pretty bad for your advertising revenue if whoever is hacking accounts keeps doing so, since you're going to ban people from using your service due to reasons beyond their control.

I doubt I would ever "desire an account" with you again.

My vegan question is peeving me...why isn't fortified vegan cereal a thing? I've had blood problems and digestive issues my entire life, so I know from experience that multivitamins alone will not take care of everything and having something quick, convenient and easy to digest with fortification is invaluable. :( Why? Who do I complain to?

There are some fortified vegan cereals here. Unfortunately though, more and more cereals now have non-vegan vitamin D added.

My peeve- at the bottom of a news article I was reading were some sponsored stories by the Canal and River Trust. One was lablelled “Do the fish get hurt?” so I clicked on it as I was surprised. It was an advert for fishing with young children. The eight year old boy who had worried about the fish was "reassured to hear that they will be fine once returned to the water." Oh yes, I'm sure they didn't mind being ripped out of their element by a barbed hook through their lip!

I've been out of town for work two weekends in a row, in towns with great vegan options, and I had to settle for french fries and salad and hummus the whole time I was gone, both times. :( Dang omnis and their restaurant choices.
