Awww they deleted my post, I guess I'm not the only smart asparagus in the bunch. I'm with KarynMC if I changed my name how would I know who I am?

I kind of trailed off with the posting about half a year ago, but I can't help but sign up anyways, even if I never post anymore. I still read and lurk alll the time though, ppk! <3

what i find interesting is how many of you, i look at your user names and i have never heard of them. on the old boards when this happened, i would look at the post count and feel like a dumbpants for not knowing you.

the forums are large and i only look at about 10% of the threads, but still! anyone else that happens to?

I still have my old PPK teapot avatar on my old computer but haven't had a chance to move it here to my new computer yet. This teddy bear is cute, too, so I may stick with it. Besides, it took me forever (OK, maybe 15 minutes) to get it down to the right size. Paint Shop Pro would tell me it was under 140x100 pixels yet when I tried to upload it here it kept telling me it was bigger. Argh!

And yeah, kept the same name. I tried to post Thursday but the boards were down.

I've come up with a lot of names over the years... I was the annoying person who would change their AOL sn every 2-3 months because I got bored with the name. Scruffleupagus is actually a blend of Mr. Scruff's nickname for me when we first met in college and his friends picking on him saying I was not real and more like Big Bird's (originally) imaginary friend, Snuffleupagus. Thus... Scruffleupagus.

Although I still have my all time favorite AOL screenname that I made just for chatrooms... FatGirlWantsCake. :-p

I recognize people by their avatar way better than their name, so I'm unfamiliar with a couple names. I've learned long ago you can't trust people to keep their avatar, though. I still remember most people that have posted in this thread, though. Everyone else is suspect.

What if we just lost our old avatars? But kept the same name... immunity?
