I think that I am terrible at recognizing people by their face alone, but I did well on this quiz:

How did you do? I got an 89% but I have no idea how that happened.

I got a 93% but I found it more difficult than I thought it would be (at the end, the beginning was a breeze). I don't think I'm cut out for this line of work.

Woah. I have face "recognition difficulties!" Like Fee said, it was a breeze in the beginning, but I started giving up in the end. That was difficult! I think it was particularly difficult because there weren't any real identifying characteristics like hair or eyebrows or facial hair. I am actually really good at remembering faces in real life- if anything, I struggle with remembering names!

I also got 93%, better than I thought I would.

Wow, I got 93% but thought for sure I'd get more wrong. That was fun!

I got 88%, much better than I thought. It got harder toward the end and I started giving up a bit.

Weird. I took the celebrity face recognition test and I got 88% also. I would have thought I'd do better with faces I've seen a lot as opposed to strangers. It certainly felt a lot easier than the stranger test.

88%. The end was pretty difficult.

I'm pretty good at recognizing actors/actresses (and not even the semi-famous ones); for instance, I noticed that the dad from Felicity played another dad of some sick kids on House. My partner, who is terrible with faces AND names, marvels at how I remember all this esoteric information. I blame this on the reason why I can't remember pretty much anything else.

97% and I know I accidentally messed up on some of them (my finger pushed button 2 when I actually went to push 3; gittery hands!)

Awh only 86%. After the first bit being so easy I thought maybe I would turn out to be not so bad but then they hit you with the hard stuff.

I did a thing like this years ago at uni, where we had to watch a video of people walking around on the street, then watch ten minutes of a documentary about space shuttles and then afterwards try to identify the people from the first video. It was a test for someone's thesis or something so they didn't tell me how I did, but I did get $10 for doing it. What a day!

i did terribly!

but i think i am normally quite good at recognizing faces. i'm a cashier at the co-op i belong to & i always recognize people -- even if they've only been there once before. i'm also good at memorizing all of my students' faces after the first day of class. i think it must be easier in those situations because i have more to attach to the person than three computer-generated images of a face.
