And that she hid the hair under the radiator - like they wouldn't notice the haircut!

when we were little, my sister decided she wanted to be aja (from jem's backup band) for halloween, and i offered to cut her hair into big, geometric layers like the doll had. that was the day we found out i was not a hairdressing savant. we also got my mom's round brush stuck in her hair once and had to cut it out right at her scalp. she thought the resulting bald patch looked very punk-chic, but she was 4.
