Starting to feel depressed again. Some people can really drain all the happiness out of a room. Sick of listening about the storm. I get it, it's gon' rain, let me forking relax before work.

I probably shouldn't have had insanely garlicky hummus for breakfast. I work with the public...So I am feeling like I want to play hooky for this stupid reason. Oh that and I'm exhausted.

I feel okay. It's a nice crisp sort of day, I've been at work which meant I didn't spend money. I'm going out for a drink with friends later (just a half or so, because I'm working again tomorrow, and also skint). Yes, I feel okay.

Hungry!
My boyfriend said he would cook and still hasn't started because he's finishing a thing on Fable 3. I would normally have eaten by now. He's going to make a curry, so it's not even like it'll be ready in five minutes... and I just had to go out because he forgot to buy half the ingredients.

not so good. surprisingly hungover after only drinking 3 beers last night. drinking on an empty stomach = no good. had a frustrating day at work yesterday, and then a not good interaction with my partner when he came to meet me after work, where we were both feeling hurt. and got a text this morning from my roommate who always writes texts and emails that kind of rankle me. i spent several hours at a coffee shop drinking coffee and reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and it's a lovely crisp sunny autumn day and i feel like i should feel awesome but i feel distinctly un-awesome.

I had a migraine for a day and a half and it's gone! Always funny when I have tried EVERYTHING and my third dose of Excedrin just finally does it.

Annoyed. It's been ages since I had a cold (well, several years). I had forgotten how much snot is involved, and about the abraded upper lip. I look terrible and I sound croaky, even though I think I'm actually on the mend. And I have to work today. I'm grateful for the money but it's annoying I HAVE to work today because all the casual work shuts down for winter and I won't get much more for the next few months unless someone is sick.

A bit upset. I'm realizing after many years of trying things to deal with myself that I'm one of those people that has to wake up at the same time every day, eat at regular times and take my meds on time, among other "little things that are actually big things." I need structure. I feel so much better when I have those things taken care of and they are so easy to do (packing lunches, sleeping 7-8 hours, etc.), but for some reason I like to focus more on organizing all sorts of things that don't really matter and neglect the basics.
I'm also annoyed that I can't just stay up all night and get my work done like I used to. I'm growing up and I'm in denial of what that all means. It's a bisque.
I had this realization this morning when I didn't get up, decided to fall back asleep in bed, then ate a ton of biscuits and gravy and grits (so good) and forgot to take my medicine until 10 a.m. The past two days I did everything "on time" and felt wonderful. Today it started with sleeping past the alarm, which got everything else off track.

Edgy. Not looking forward to having to constantly guard the dog from my sister's youngest, take her out, make sure she doesn't shiitake on anything. Buuhhhh. There had best be doggy cuddles in all of this.

Suddenly a whole lot better- mom is taking the dog, no need to worry. Phew. I packed a bunch of clothes and books and notebooks and my Gerard Way action figure, so I'm ready to go.
