Happy! It's been a while since I've had girlfriends close to home and these ladies/coworkers are wonderful. It's that weird perfect situation where all three of us have something to learn from each other, and have immense support in doing so. Plus, we have fun! Yay social life.

I feel great! I've just spent 10 minutes laughing out loud at the Kids say the darnedest things thread in the Playground. I've been taking vitamin D and watching my nutrition for the past 10 days or so, and I don't know if it's a placebo effect or what, but I feel really cheerful and somewhat energetic, which typically never happens this time of year.

Sad :( Halloween is my favorite and pretty much only personal holiday. (the rest I acknowledge for other people I mean) I wish Ada was here. We were going to pass out candy and I know she would have loved the nice pumpkin costume and all of the people coming to the door. (She did not find Halloween masks scary at all)

I'm so sorry Shanti and Boober.
I'm feeling relieved, I've just been for an eye test that I've been putting off for several years after the last one said I was borderline for glaucoma. Not sure why I kept putting it off, apart from hating medical stuff or people fiddling with my eyes. Anyway, they were fine today. Must have just been that I was stressed out last time making my eyes pop!

Pretty good. I was going to skip my workout and sleep in but I didn't, so I feel proud of myself for that. And I'm not exhausted from working out (that will come later) so I feel pretty good.

So freaking cold. Power will be off for another 5 to 7 days and I am a sad, cold panda. I am so grateful things aren't worse, but man, I am cold and I miss heat.

aw, tofulish. :( you should invite friends over for a halloween huddle party. you can eat lots of candy under a giant pile of blankets.
i'm really tired for some reason, so i'm relieved that i don't have to make up an excuse to get out of the halloween stuff i'd had planned (it was all in manhattan, and i can't really get there from here at the moment). but that makes me feel old and lazy and defeated. so, i don't know.

Really, really angry about a situation at work. I knew it was coming because I would have to have been very, very stupid not to see it. But it was handled with a complete lack of respect for me and my work and I'm pissed even though it didn't take me by surprise.
