My husband and I dated long distance for nine months before I moved in with him in Chicago. It was a leap of faith and it was a little rocky at first, but I'm so very glad I did!

Hah, well.
We've been together a month, and he got accepted for a job on Monday that he applied for so that he could move up here into my flat.
BUT we were together for nearly 18 months until June, and we split for reasons that aren't there any more. We're very sure it's right and we're scared but excited :/

My girlfriend and I moved in together after dating for 6 months. Now we've lived together for 6 months. Our cats hate each other, but other than that, it's totally the best.

Every serious relationship I have been in, we have moved in together in 6 months or less. Usually less. My current bf and I have been together almost 9 months and while we spend most nights together, I have absolutely no plans on moving in with him or anyone else at anything less than 1.5 years given my past. We did briefly discuss me moving in with him in the semi-recent past because i was having some landlord/financial issues and he wouldn't allow me and my 3 dogs to become homeless but the thought of us living together at that/this point was very stressful for both of us. We have both been through hell in the past and are very happy with the way our relationship is now. Luckily, I pulled my shiitake together and still have my own separate apartment.
Also, I renewed my lease and am staying in my place til at least September 2013 and he is in his place until at least December 2013. SO even if we were ready, we are stuck for awhile.

My current partner and I hardly spent a night apart from the day we met, and officially moved in together after 4 or 5 months. Now it's been over six years and we are still pretty obsessed with each other and have an awesome 5 month old daughter! I think sometimes you just know it's right.

We moved in together (into a van) from day one and then a house after a few months. That was 11.5 years ago. I was 21. I couldn't imagine doing that today. Ahh youth.
