Do people ever say "you look like shiitake" in real life? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say it and I know I've never said it to anyone.

I have never, ever told someone they look like shiitake. I am way behind.

Excellent! I love how there's a special segment just for Bruce Willis.

I have never actually heard/said "you look like shiitake" in real life - but I have heard/said "you look like hell" fairly frequently.

I've heard "(they) look like death warmed over," but never to anyone's face only in reference to them, out of their presence. Is it worse to look like shiitake or death warmed over? *ponders deeply in Rodinesque posture*

Fantastic, now every time I hear that phrase I will think of this. Steel Magnolias scene, I love it!

Oh yes they do, and they've said it to me! The best thing to do is to respond "I feel fine, I don't know what you're talking about" and watch them get super ashamed and flustered.

I've heard it, never directed at me, of course.
