Rule 11 on the PPK is "Be awesome at all times." Do you have plans for increasing your awesomeness?

I am going to visit CA to see some people I've not seen in forever. I have also decided to read 12 non-fiction books about subjects I know nothing about.

I think we should change it to “be excellent to each other always” like from Bill & Ted’s.

My goal this year is to be kinder to the human variety of animal. I pretty much got the compassion towards animals down pretty well but I think I fall into the category of “vegans who like animals better than people.” Im NOT mean to people by any means whatsoever im just insanely socially inept and prefer just not to speak to people whom I don’t know.
I think maybe I should try to come out of my hermit shell a little bit in 2013.
Not sure if ill succeed but it’s a fine idea.

My plan for increasing my awesomeness is to try to be more creative. All I ever do anymore is work, cook, and read. Very pleasant, but I used to like to draw, so I want to get back into that more.

Meeting other awesome PPKers is a great way to come out of your hermit shell! We have lots of 'em near Boston if you don't mind a drive.

I deny ever being awesome.

Take less bullshiitake, practice guitar more often, lift heavier weights, start re-learning Japanese and read at least twelve books (my attention span is somewhat lacking).

Get back to running regularly, make crafty things again (mainly knitting and sewing)

enforcement of this rule will result in my immediate expulsion from the ppk.

My awesome increasing commitment is to start a vegan fitness blog, with lots of original recipes and workout ideas.

I did that once. I read entire books on bells, cacti, and atolls. Hilariously, it was the atoll book that did me in. Some future geology geek, huh?

I'm going to keep on making other people's days better in little ways. More joy! Action panda.
I will be working on some new plush designs come January when the holiday rush is over. The past 5 or 6 months have been great for me creatively so I want to keep it going.

I'm going to make a pie! And pay off my credit card debt (whoo!). And go to grad school (fingers crossed). And be able to eat fat again (everything crossed).

A year of awesomeness awaits.

Can't do that without more joy. And a plush army guaranteed to brighten days by 23%.

And I will be in Oregon. Woe!

For my part, I will race more bikes, crush more bisques, and keep on keeping on.

my resolution to become more awesome in 2013 is to actually become vegan!! Still undecided about whether to cut all animal products at once or do it over a year and aim to be completely vegan by 2014...

I sort of love this idea. A few years ago my new years goal was a book a week (on average, anyway) and I hit it just exactly. I don't have that kind of time for reading right now, but I'd still like a reading goal. I might awesomely steal this idea.

I'm going to increase my awesomeness by joining the ranks of PPK marathoners. And by convincing linanil that she is, indeed, awesome.

It was suggested to me that I should instead make a Seattle/Vancouver trip. That's a whole lotta Canadians to take in all at once.

You are the most awesome of all. I believe we founded a religion this summer with you at the center.

I realized that all I do is complain about work and how painfully little I make. I am determined to be more firm with clients so I feel like I am getting things done instead of just being an ear to listen (which is all well and good but not why they hire me) and to stand up for myself! Also, to take time for myself so that I can be there for friends and family instead of just being a whinypants alla times.

And linanil is awesome. Obvs.

Do it before September, else I may be across the country!

I am going to be more active. I spend like 90% of my life either sitting at my desk or sitting on the couch, so that's gotta change.
