The Teaching Fellows help people with little to no teaching experience transition into the teaching field. I am currently in the process of applying to teaching fellows programs around the continental US and was recently invited to interview with the fellows group based out of Oakland. I was wondering if anyone here has had experiences with the this program?

I am excited and at the same time a little wary of the program because it is expensive to travel and there is no guarantee that a job will come from interviewing. At the same time I am excited about the prospect of switching careers and possibly leaving the mid-west.

Please share experiences if you have them.
