Well I for one can't get enough of veggie bacon. And I hated meat bacon.

I agreed with maybe half of them. I thought the list was funny at first but at the end I kind of thought, well that was sort of depressing. The "vay-gon" thing is so true. My husband's grandma pronounces it "vee-gon" and we always joke that I am a vegan robot. But I don't miss cheese like at all. I agree with a lot of people with the turning down food thing. I really try not to bring it up with people a lot of the time because of some of the reactions you get sometimes - where I used to work they would have bbqs sometimes in the summer and I would always just say no. They didn't actually know I was vegan. And the "don't worry you'll know who the vegan is" thing going around on facebook seriously ticked me off.

Can I add another one?: people (like my mom) buying you stuff with honey in it and thinking it's vegan? She does that all the time.

I always think about trying to go gluten free for a bit...and I could do it if it weren't for that pesky beer. When my daughter was in preschool the cafeteria lady asked me about whether she could have the chicken tenders and was very confused that she couldn't since they were gluten free.

I thought this list was totally hilarious. I especially like the cat at the office picture with that disappointed face.

UGH. The last one is the worst. Especially when you're reading some article that's not even telling people to be vegan, just providing some vegan recipes, and half of the comments are attacking veganism. Then the whole comment section turns into this irrelevant debate about eating animals. Here's a tip: if you don't like it, go away. My personal eating habits don't effect you at all, Random Internet Man, so be nice or STFU.

EVERYONE I KNEW IN MY TEEN YEARS. I secretly hate most danish vegans I've met a little bit. The veganism is cool, but the self-righteousness is so.. Mind numbing.

Yeah, to be fair I knew a couple of feminists at college who were of a similar aspect.

The Kitchn is the only place where I've noticed it's usually okay to read the comments. Even when they talk about something omnis usually freak out about, like vegan mayo recipes.
