So, i work for a grocery store and we're currently planning a very large event having to do with natural foods/GF stuff/vegetarian options, and I was in a meeting with my co-manager, our boss and the head of natural foods department at our corporate headquarters via teleconference. One of the ideas was to have a cookbook author do a demo/book signing whatever, so of course I suggest that we contact Isa, because DUH.
Well the corporate guy says that someone in the department is in contact with an author.... "Chloe... something? she has a cookbook?"

Rather than playing it cool, like a cool person would, I immediately.... bug out. "Chloe Coscarelli????? i love her cookbook omg so cool!!! I'm so excited."

Silence over the phone line. of course. and my boss and the corporate guy were totally judging me.

But on the bright side. She's coming to my work (as long as nothing goes wrong)! and I get to be in charge of her part of the event! and i get to meet her! Squeeeeeeeeeeee!

*(Isa, you're still my #1. )

Woot! I love Chloe's cookbook, too! I'm making two of her recipes this weekend.

That's awesome! And I totally geeked out in a similar way when I found out the bookstore where I work was bringing Terry for a cooking demo/book signing last year!

Are you anywhere near PA? I recall from another thread that you work at a Wegmans, which means that you can only live in one of about five states.

Basically if it's anywhere nearby I want to be there. Because she's awesome. (And I'm sure you are too!)
