one thing at a time, cut out what's easily replaced first and tackle the hard stuff with the help of others who've been there and have some suggestions. not sure what you have access to where you are but some of us who don't have access to store-bought things have come up with some interesting alternatives, it isn't all processed and ready-made things.
we could use an expert on SA cookery, we've been talking about just this topic lately! welcome.

Hi there
thanks :) well I live in Johannesburg which is quite a large city so I can get most anything from a supermarket.
I'm not sure about the expert but I'll try help where I can

ooh i'm jealous, i can get soymilk but that's about it. i found that i wasn't much of a cook before going vegan, since then i have learned to cook to make up for anything that i felt like i was missing. it seems overwhelming at the beginning but it's really not a big deal!
have you got any cookbooks to help you along your way yet?

I'm lucky as most are health conscious here.
I've actually gotten most of my recipies from Google.
Its been easier than I had initially anticipated

If you love yogurt and say Johannesburg has lots of good options, there's got to be a vegan yogurt somewhere! Over here in the USofA there's soy, coconut and almond based yogurts available. Go on a non-dairy yogurt hunt and get a few different brands at once, not all brands will be amazing, but some certainly are!
