We have a friend with a rescue dog with only 3 paws because his previous owner tried to cut them off and succeeded in taking one off. I guess her dog is partially immortal?

I'll spoiler it bc its gross and horrible.

Spoiler: show
The dog escaped from the yard, animal control brought him back and told the owner to stop him escaping. A few hours later, the police were called because the owner was trying to cut the dog's paws off so he couldn't escape again. The owner was cited for abuse and the dog was rehomed
