It took me ten pages to remember something that is not related to my work so I could actually share it...

Alice Cooper stayed at my partner's dad's apartment after a show.

Also, Chelsea Clinton was in my algebra class in middle school.

Two of the members of the Talking Heads got me high on their homegrown pot (back when I still smoked) to thank me for driving their son home from school.

I once yelled at Michael Bolton to hang up the goddamn cellphone before ordering his coffee.

I was awkwardly hit on by the "I'm a Mac!" guy.

My best friend went to summer camp with Lady Gaga in middle school and early high school.

Re: the above: growing up in an incredibly affluent area of Connecticut is weird.

The guy who plays Tom Zarek in Battlestar Galactica complimented my Six cosplay and said I looked like a mini-Tricia Helfer.

I baked vegan rosemary chocolate chip cookies for the Dandy Warhols. The rosemary confused them. They thought they were pot cookies.

thinking about fee's mom dating alan rickman makes me think about david bowie and alan rickman hanging out, and maybe dancing.

Christina Hendricks budged in front of me in line for security at LAX airport. She was wearing high heeled boots and a little cape and a sweater that had metal buttons all down both sleeves so she took forever go to through security. The friends I was with didn't recognize her and were all pissed that she budged! (though they were still pissed even when I told them she was famous lol) I wish I had gotten a picture with her but I was wearing grubby travel clothes...

I love them! And I've met them, soooooooo that means we are related, yes?

Also, I feel like I knew this already.

ETA: I did know this already! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11350&hilit=silverstein

So in addition to the ones I posted about in that thread (ben affleck! vince vaughn!) I will add that my mom dated Dicky Barrett form the Mighty Mighty Bosstones when they were in high school.

Oh, and I basically stalked Toby from H2O around Providence one night before seeing them perform. He walked into Nice Slice as J and I were finishing up our food. I followed him around a bit and then gave up so we could go drink beer.

I want to hear about this!

And since she's not been posting much lately, I'm going to post for VFR. She once met Ben Affleck and got a picture with him. I think the story was that she and her friend saw him and then kind of chased him down for a photo.

Oh! And my friends and I met and got to hang out with The Vegan Zombie and we got him to sign VFR's cast annndddd I have a photo with him annndddd he sung karaoke with us. So did the woman who owns Sugar Mama's.

oh yeah! thanks! not sure how, but i forgot about the vegan zombie!!!!!!!

It gets less interesting when you realise it was a house dress dinner with at least 100 other students and we sat across the room from him.

Did get a photo with him though! That totally makes me a famous theoretical physicist, right? RIGHT?
