I like how they say "cold sore virus" instead of herpes, even if cold sore virus is so much more clunky. Can't tell it like it is!

They were filming Gracepoint at the grocery store across the street from my apartment yesterday and today they are filming at the farm beside my workplace. Nick Nolte is stalking me!

Oh I remembered two things- I went to high school with Jennifer Connelly (she was never there though) and when I was 12 I got picked on by Mariah Carey at a Fourth of July fireworks thing on the beach.

I am good friends with the fellow who plays his trumpet for about 7 seconds (sitting on the stairs in his office) ... about 11:25 into this clip ...

Considering only 1 recent vice president is from Tennessee... I'm guessing you can say unless you are trying to be not so obvious or you can tell us how you chat it up with Al Gore.

Just didn't want to be too easily searchable. I figured everyone would infer from my location.

This is too awesome!

I once handled a book (a book that was, like, from the 1600s or sumpin) that was once owned by Shakespearean actor, David Garrick (his signed nameplate was at the front). One of my old professors is a collector of old books and he brought it into class one day and passed it around for us all to see.

Today at the library I saw Ron Sims.

That's right: former Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and former King County (Washington) Executive Rom Sims.

Ron Sims was the keynote speaker at my ex-husband's graduation from the illustrious Eastern Washington University. True story. Me 'n' Ron go way back.

Way back I had a friend who was working on the Starship Titanic game and we visited the office on a weekend for some reason. Anyway, I have sat in Douglas Adams' chair. I also saw a hat he had left there.

I was in the same room as Charles Dance once. He was acting onstage and I was in the audience, but it was still the same room.

Oh, well! If we're going down that road, I have been only a few feet away from several actors who have appeared on The Bill.

Also, a boy in my class at school once had a line of dialogue and about three non-speaking appearances on Grange Hill.
