A classmate of mine was in a couple of silly music videos that went viral-ish here in Italy.

Michael Dorn retweeted my tweet about Lazy Smurf's vegan gagh! That makes both of us famous, I think.

My grade 10 typing teacher was Corey Hart's (Canadian singer-songwriter--i.e. "Sunglasses at Night") sister-in-law. This was in the mid-eighties when Corey was BIG...well, at least here in Canada.

These are two of the most Canadian posts ever. (Also, I listened to "Sunglasses at Night" on repeat when it came out. This should go in the Confessions thread.)

I sold that book at my last job! So my claim to fame is that I almost know FootFace!

I have another one along these lines I recently remembered! This guy I went to high school with was Lawrence Gowan's cousin (sang "A Criminal Mind", "Strange Animal", "Moonlight Desires" etc.). He was so proud of LG, too and bragged about him but not in an obnoxious way, in an adoring kid-brother way. Really sweet!

I googled and now Lawrence Gowan sings and tours with Styx!

I took a selfie with MEP Alyn Smith (of standing ovation in the European Parliament after the brexit vote fame) at vegan cocktail night. Unfortunately he wasn't there for vegan cocktail night.
