At my current place of employment we do a potluck. It is horrible. This year we are doing quesadillas. I get to bring all my own food.
Then the ladies I work with asked if I wanted to do a cookie exchange, as I am a fabulous baker. No, not really. I don't want to bake 3+ dozen cookies to get back cookies I can't eat. (And neither can my kids).
Then they asked if I would make cupcakes. I really hate my job. Really.

I didn't go last year, but I'd only been an employee for about 2 wks.
This year they haven't announced one yet, and I may opt out based on "family obligations," especially if they hold it somewhere where I can't eat (like last years all you can eat wings).
