got weighed at dietitian; somehow my weight has managed to drop to an all-time low. i have been around this weight before... i was in a hospital bed, hooked up to a feeding tube, being told by a doctor that if i wanted to die comfortably, they could send me somewhere for that.
i'm scared.

I hope you can take comfort in his quality of life. It is heartbreaking to watch our beloved companions suffer. I'm glad he didn't.

my bisque session is pretty stupid in comparison- i am participating in 4? 5? joint ventures at the same time and my life is made up of meetings, proposals, reports, trainings, email investigation and honest-to-goodness spying, but nothing that actually produces any $$$$. Which is ironic considering everybody seems to want a piece of me because I'm So Professional.

Here is the list (so far) of things I can't eat because of my health:

avocado (guac! the best sushi!)
Daiya (pizza, mac and cheese, nachos!)
Ethiopian food
nuts
cinnamon buns (why, I'm not quite sure. White flour plus fat?)
coconut milk (curries!)
nuts
anything with the slightest amount of fat

I forking hate this. All of my favourite foods are off limits.

I was JUST reeling from my awesome night when I encountered my one of two best friends having the most difficult time I've ever seen her have. She's an alcoholic who hasn't drank in a long long time (like maybe... 20 years), and the entire time me and my bestie have been be besties with her it's been really cool, she's so... well she doesn't seem like she has alcoholism at all...

Anyways, even though there's normally always lots of drinking around her... something triggered her tonight. I think it might be that two people she is crushing on like each other more than her, sexually, so were all touchy with each other. Maybe that's it. I don't know. It was a bit scary. I've not seen that. It was like... if we don't diffuse this it's panic attack time. Wow.

EDIT: thinking about it, it may not have been the worst thing for me. For her, most definitely. But... I feel like as scary as it felt, it taught me a good lesson. Argh I really wish alcoholism wasn't a thing.

Realizing that I'm being bullied by my boss at my new job. It's a small place, there's no one to appeal to. And now it's tricky to look for other jobs, since I can't really list the new job on the resume. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

My heart goes out to you. I'm a serial victim in work. Not one bit pleasant at all.

It's been the wettest summer in the UK for 100 years and our house (we've been here since April) appears to be damp. I knew there was a problem in the downstairs bathroom and the laminate flooring in the front room has buckled, but today I found green mould on the sofa. I can't really afford it right now due to dental work that I need, but I've bought an electric dehumidifier to try to limit any damage that might be happening. I'm unhappy that the laundry I dry indoors smells fusty and that the guinea pigs blankets need changing twice as often as they used to. I don't really want to move house again this year, can't afford the time or money for it.

Allergies for something like the 30th straight day in a row, plus headache, plus my back hurts, plus I couldn't even stay in bed and be pathetic because the dogs all beat me up until I fed them.

Some local jerks who think loud party music late at night = awesome. It's bouncing off all the buildings in the neighborhood, so I can't even tell where it's coming from.

Fortunately, I was about two block from some friends house and the one who was home had the equipment/ know how to doctor me up.

Also, I was on the way home from the Asian market getting sushi stuff. Now I won't get my sushi tonight! Although my partner might cook up our tofu puff things when he gets back from the drugstore. Also, iam missing dr who watching, though my friend said he would bring me dr who tomorrow.

That doesn't sound good. I have punctured my knee before and had to get a bunch of stitches. You might want to consider getting it looked at tonight.

I agree. That doesn't sound like something to take lightly. I second getting it looked at.

I cleaned it really well, but I think I will have it looked at in the am. The good news is it's not really bleeding.

Mine is something that is not even really my thing. But it makes me so frustrated.

boring story even more boring... don't promise things to people that you have no real intention of following through on. Especially if the person being let down is not in the best place mentally to begin with.
