Just wanted to add that I drank one of those after a few drinks of something else and thought I was going to die. It's not good.

Yea, it is basically the worst tasting drink ever, worst trend ever.

Because NY liberals hate the freedom to drink a 6 pack worth of alcohol and two cups of coffee in a single beverage!

I'm wondering if the real problem with that stuff is that it comes in what looks like a beer can but its alcohol percentage is three times higher. College kids can be pretty dumb and probably pound those things like they're Bud Light.

I never wanted to drink them until they got banned. It is rather ridiculous, though. Anybody heard of Jager bombs? Vodka Red Bull? Rum and Coke? Mountain Dew Code Red, everclear, spritz of ayahuasca and a slice of peyote? All pretty common and all have caffeine.

These are all a lot pricier (if you were out paying for a drink) than Four Loko, and contain less caffeine. And with their packaging and fruity flavors, it sorta seems like they're appealing to underage or brand new drinkers who probably don't know the rist of downing them.

(That's what I've heard, anyway--I should add that I don't really care about this drink either way.)

haha, I tried the grape one and I actually liked it, it just tasted like grape Kool-Aild to me, but like I said I only had a sip.

OH my god that stuff is horrible. So many of my friends have told me Loko Horror Stories ("I laid on the floor and cried for five hours after one"). I took a sip, ONCE and never again.

Also I don't muchly like the graphic. Too soon. It was only banned a few days ago! Sob.

Ha, that sounds like something I'd do if I had a drink like that (and it sounds like the reason I don't drink drinks like that).

I only ever heard of this stuff for the first time last week, they make fun of it on the Brewing Network a lot. Pretty sure it's illegal here.
