So since moving to Canada I haven't touched my tarot cards but I did one last reading before leaving for my BF in Ireland. Basically everything turned out exactly as I suggested (I don't like to say predicted). My DW got a reading from a friend before leaving to come to Ireland and it said she would meet a girl who was into music (me) with pink hair (again me). So I was just wondering if anyone reads the tarot or has had a tarot card reading come true?

I was trying to learn how to read tarot cards for a while but I gave it up. I was thinking about doing it again, mostly because I have a lot of life changes and I think it is pretty interesting plus the cards are pretty.
I had a psychic reading a few years ago that was very eery but I've had 2 psychic readings w/ tarot cards and both of them were pretty useless.

I have a family member who used to read them, pretty much the whole married to a sailor and having him be away when we have a child came true.

Weirdest tarot story I can share: A reading done by a mutual friend of my husband (then boyfriend) and myself, for me. The guy friend was not familiar with tarot cards, had only a bit of time to read up on how to do a reading, then....gave me the BEST reading ever, which was so so accurate and scarily bang-on! Yeah, that was pretty cool, for sure.
ETA: Oh! There used to be a PPKer years ago, I think her user name was Jeanieinabottle...she was awesome with tarot readings! She gave myself and some other PPKers free trial readings, and I definitely had a good experience, I think other people did, too. I can't remember her website, where she had a business doin the readings, don't know if it will have changed by now, either...maybe someone will remember! I would recommend her highly!

I read Tarot! I've done it professionally sometimes, and I've taught others before, but mostly I just like to do it for fun. I've lost count of how many decks I have now -- probably 25-30? So yeah, I love it, and I love talking to people about it, so if you want to talk more about Tarot just let me know. :D

I read them. But usually I just use them to help guide meditation.

Boyfriend's mother once had a tarot reading that said Boyfriend would marry into money and then have a rich and famous kid. I'm not aware of my family being secretly loaded, so maybe I'm not the one. But whenever we talk about the future we like to say 'we don't need to worry about it, Hollywood kid can take care of us'.
Maybe I'll get my own reading done one day, hers seemed a bit too ambitious.

I got a tarot reading once where the reader told me I'd have 3 cats. I'm not big on pets and would've ignored that part, but was a little annoyed that she went on about the cats, each would be a different color, one would be orange, and one would get to be so old it'd be a running joke that it couldn't die.
Almost 4 years later, I'm living with my boyfriend and his three cats, one of which is orange, and another of which is 19 and has had various medical issues that just sorta went away. We joke about how she's invincible. Only last year did I reread an old journal and see how I'd kinda scoffed at that part of the reading.

I read occasionally (although I still need a book to know all the meanings) and I'm usually pretty spot on, although I generally view them more as a means of getting at my subconscious than a means of divination. I did a very helpful reading when I trying to decide between grad school options a year ago.
I have the Secret Tarot, Yoga Tarot, Tarot of the Cat People, and the one I use the most is my Baba Studio Fantastic Menagerie deck (which I adore).

I have a bunch of decks, as I used to be way into it in high school/early college. I haven't touched them in a couple of years, though.

The one I have had the most success with is the Osho Zen tarot cards. Apart from the fact that the illustrations are beautiful, I have always found the readings to be accurate. It's less about prediction and more about affirming and inspiring. I have the Druid Craft tarot cards but they have sat on my shelf for a few years now and I have never had the desire to pick them up, so I won't as it is clearly not meant to be.

Five years ago or so I did a picture for the reading because I thought it was so strange. Right after that I met my (now) fiancee and have changed my life for the better.

I read Tarot Cards and love the Tarot of the Cat People deck (big surprise) but I have lots of others.
I find it to be really relaxing and almost meditative.

Sometimes I'll read them for fun. I read my partner's [then fiance] cards at one point and it gave an eerily accurate reading. The cards predicted a baby for the 'lovers' and a few weeks later, I found that I was pregnant.

I've had my cards read three times. The first two I remember vaguely, one of them involved having to stand my ground against my dad about something. He and I were fighting all the time then (meh, I was 15) so I was a little spooked, but I can't remember anything in particular happening where I fought with him and won about something important. The most recent reading I remember as being kind of bleak but I don't remember too many specifics.

Feh. We had no plans to get pregnant, used precautionary measures, and still had a baby pop out. It was quite unexpected. Reading tarot cards is silly, but that particular reading-I-did-for-a-lark had strange timing. /derail
