Work is stressing me out and over the course of the past week and a half or so I have become emotionally wrecked for reasons only slightly related, but as I wake up today I try to focus on the awesome...
It was on Thanksgiving last year that I finally gave up cheese. And so, I have been vegan for a year! Yay!
Thanks, PPK, for being here even when people ask me what I eat, use terms like "ovo-lacto vegan", and otherwise buzzkill my choices. You are part of the world that helps strengthen a way of life that seems to make so much sense to me, even if it was only two and a half years ago that I started on this path.

Work has been exhausting and I was debating just spending the day home alone, but it is my veganniversary and I have a BFF who is making a vegan feast for her parents. I'm thinking I should go partake in that and celebrate when there's reason to! I feel sort of guilty about not hanging with the parents, but they didn't have plans and if they do make last minute ones I know they involve turkey. Lentil loaf and trimmings sounds way better!

I forgot it was my veganversary.. I think it was the 15th November - 1 year vegan!
