Let's talk about those.

Monday I'm going to Valby to stay the night with my roommate from Amritapuri (3 years ago! dude!).
Tuesday morning I'm flying to Amsterdam --- and Tuesday afternoon, I get to meet veg_eric and stay with him for a few days!
Friday morning I'm taking the train from veg_eric's to Groningen, and then am going to geek out in a fMRI lab, sign papers, geek out in a gesture/sign language lab, and come home just in time for a friend to arrive from Italy (er, and geek out some more).

Last night was the "Diwali i Aarhus" celebration with the local Indian community,
and now it's raining and the woods are gorgeous and there are mushrooms growing everywhere.

Yay! I go home to visit my family in NZ in two days time! Highlights will include
* seeing my aunt and uncle who are visiting from South Africa. I haven't seen them for ten years.
* short family vacay to the beautiful Banks Peninsula
* Leonard Cohen concert!
* seeing my cat, Pippi.

I'm a bit worried about more earthquake aftershocks though, there have been another 3 this week.

These things are way more exciting than mine. But on Thursday I'm going home to visit family and friends. There will be lots of vegan food, I get to get tattooed, and there's the annual epic Halloween party. Some of my friends live in an abandoned church and every year they have a huge party where everyone goes way over the top with totally elaborate and obscure costumes and bands play. It's the most fun all year.

Flying to Qatar for a short break in about a week! Beer!

ooo! i'm going to stradbroke island on tuesday for a week to go to the island vibe reggae festival. mmmmmmmmm.
