Anyone else on the PPK working/crapping their pants over any final essays/assignments/projects/presentations/exams? Would anyone like to share their stream of consciousness now that their caffeine/Red Bull high is coming down? Come on, I know that there are vegetarian and vegan procrastinators out there!

Right now I'm working on an essay about tactical media, and in general just being frustrated at haughty-taughty "i'm better than you with my PhD" ridiculous academic writing. I'm not even sure if I understand what I'm reading...but hopefully I fall asleep on my books and magically absorb it into my brain? As if my brain were a tofu and I could marinate it in knowledge! Yes, my stream of consciousness gets progressively more insane/creative the longer I stay up.

Now, to stop compulsively adjusting my Amazon wish list...

I just got back from the print studio (it's 4:54am) And I am thinking about going to sleep so I have at least 2 hrs under my belt before my 8am class tomorrow morning, but I'm still jittery from all the stress/projects that are happening right now that sleep is not coming easily.

I have completed in the last 2 days: 22x30" drawing, Pillbox made out of copper, 1 essay, 18-print edition (I still have some cleaning to do, and I have to flatten them, and I've cut out over 100 rats out of some dark gray felt.

Still to do (before thursday): Build social ineptitude helmet (out of cardboard, I can't even explain it right now), sew 100+rats in to one large necklace/neck piece, Sew 150+ copper beads on to the same necklace, 4 more essays.
Clean entire apartment before friday, when my father is coming to visit.

Sorry, lists of things I have yet to do is a coping mechanism.

If this is procrastination I don't think I understand that term! You are working so hard!!

Dear dear Boober. Poor thing.

I don't let myself lose that little sleep most of the time (I have realized that not sleeping = unproductive, stupid zombie for me) but I am working my butt off in my waking hours, finishing my final studio project, applying for internships in Tokyo (which are unpaid in my profession) and English-teaching jobs so I can financially support myself while I work for free. So crazy. Also trying to manage visa and apartment stuff. So. Much. Work.

Argh, I have to do this tonight. Presentation tomorrow morning, and I don't have all my data together yet (thank you, stupid forking program we're supposed to work with) and I don't have anything resembling a powerpoint presentation. Everyone else did one.
I feel like a dinosaur, and I miss the time where there was no powerpoint. Maybe a xerox machine.

I have an essay due Friday I was going to do over thanksgiving but that didn't get done at all. :/ I normally give myself a full day to write but I have class all during the week, so this is going to be fun I'm sure.

I have a couple of long essays and a bunch of discussion posts due Friday. I have barely looked at the materials.

I'm not pulling any all nighters and I really don't think I have been procrastinating (too much). I have a project due Wednesday that I want to finish after work tonight, then tomorrow I have to grade papers to hand back on Thursday and Friday and Saturday I have to finish another project. Next week I only have one project to work on but I haven't done much of anything for it...

I guess I have been procrastinating more than I thought... I'm not at the all nighter stage yet though!

STRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to memorize a bunch of federal rules of evidence by next week, and I feel like a failure at all my classes. And the stress is making it harder for me to work productively. *pity party*

I have to work at my boring desk job tonight for 4 hours, and I haven't even started this essay yet. Still so much reading to do. Thank goodness it's only 5-6 pages (I think?). And I only got 4hrs of sleep last night! And I can't even nap because I have to leave in half an hour! GOING TO BE SOOOOOO DEAAAAAAAD

Please see my poetic ramblings in the study room: viewtopic.php?p=80144#p80144

I am currently sipping on Dr. Pepper tapping away at a paper. Some of my redeemable but crappy grades are really getting me down. I can overcome!

Ugh. It's like you'd THINK that by the time your essay is already late, you'd be more motivated to finish it. But I just want this all to be over. But I want to sleep too. Darn work zapping all of my free time... #momoneymoproblems

Ohhh! In your picture the rats look like they're made of felt. I was about to say...it doesn't seem excruciatingly hard to make felt mice. And what kind of class do you need to make a felt mice necklace for? That is ridiculous cool. Send one to Lady Gaga.

And speaking of collapsing, it's that point in my allnighter where I take a 1 hour brain nap! Be back in a bit if I dont sleep in...

be careful! one hour naps are never just one hour! don't get trapped in the sweet sweet sanctuary of sleep for too long!

yeah, there is a certain turning point where I cannot nap. if I go to sleep now I will not be able to wake up ever.

I was sitting around, sewing these rats together, and I was wondering what smelled so weird.

...boiled wool.
duh.
