All nighters/stressed procrastinating students

Today is (more or less) day 1 of the 8th semester of my PhD. Every timeline I have ever made has been for 12 semesters. My advisor and my committee have all approved this timeline multiple times. Today my prof let me know that he can only fund me for 9 semesters and expects me to be done by the end of this year.

Time to live every week like it's shark week.

It's finals week. I don't feel like studying. I also go something else to do for my internship.

Half way through exams, didn't revise enough for the first two which you'd think would induce sufficient panic about the next two that I wouldn't spend time online procrastinating, apparently not, I've been up since 8.30 doing anything other than revision.
Bleh, I lack work ethic.

Finals week! I am on page seven of a twenty pager due tomorrow. I am never going to get through this, and I wish I could care more about that.

Just got offered to work an extra day tomorrow and I was all over it because then I wouldn't have to stare blankly at my notes for as many hours.
I am a bad student.

I finished my papers last week (uberprocrastined with both of them). Now I have a bunch of student papers to grade before tomorrow. Sigh and ugh.

doing much better than yesterday, since all i essentially did was poke it with a stick and then got stressed about my lack of progress.

also I am a student and i am procrastinating doing my laundry. If i dont do it tonight i'll be going commando tomorow :(

Finished my Shakespeare paper, and it's done early!

All I have to do is study for History and write my Women and Politics Paper. I'm feeling some procrastination on the paper.

I have 3 exams left, that have multiple sittings. Friday is history and I don't know a thing. I am freaking out and I've never had a worse teacher in my life. He is totally pointless. In a lot of ways, I'm glad that I graduate high school even if I don't get my IB diploma, and I'm really glad that I already got into university. Still, I'm upset because if I don't get my diploma I'll feel like the last 12 years of my life were completely pointless. I can't even stop crying. It doesn't help that this year has been the worst year of my life, so that hindered a lot of the ability I had to do self-studying.

My dad told me it's okay and that it doesn't matter at this point. I won't even know what to feel if I don't get my diploma.

yay! back in this thread! I'm not yet at the point of all-nighters, as it's been a week, but I am anticipating very long nights and days for a while, due to the 15-hour days I am rocking on average.

I only have class Monday and Wednesday, so I've had all week to write a lab report, do an online assignment, catch up on the 6ish chapters I haven't read yet and study for the two tests I have tomorrow. But I waited 'til tonight, because that's what I do. It's nearly midnight, and I'm about halfway through the homework, haven't started on the lab report, and have done zero reading or studying. And clearly I'm PPKing instead of doing anything that's actually important. My first test is at 11, and all the homework is due at 3.

I'm all sorts of boned.

I'm trying to motivate myself with rewards, so I told myself that if I'd written a thousand words by Tuesday night I could plan a fitness session with friends for Wednesday morning... then agreed to work a full day on Tuesday, making the thousand words a totally unrealistic goal.

I shouldn't set myself rewards that are actually productive, because then I feel like I can't do them if I don't reach my goal. No fitness for me. :(

I'm not even officially a student anymore but I still let my old university rope me in to doing a piece of work for them. And it's driving me MAD! Friday is my deadline and I've spent the past 2 and a bit weeks doing about a paragraph a day. Now I have to actually get down to it and start working properly.

But it's 11am and I appear to still be browsing the internet instead...

10 page field report due tomorrow! (No other homework exists until then). I'm technically on page 6, but I think I probably need to add half a page or so to the minimum for every picture I insert.

So tonight I have:
-An assignment due online at 11pm I haven't even started for ochem... should only take about an hour or two, but I'm starting it now to be on the safe side
-A prelab and quiz for my biology class, also due online. Technically they close at 6 am tomorrow, so those will get worked on after I'm done with chem
-Lab and book homework for my qsci class. These aren't due till 2:30pm tomorrow when class starts, so these will be neglected till everything else is done.

And then after I finish all these, I need to read about 100 pages of text for ochem by this weekend. What the fork have I done to myself. The only good news is once I finish all that is due tonight/tomorrow, the rest of the week should be *okay*, so I should have plenty of time to get all the reading for ochem done. I use to be awesome about time management and planning out assignments so I didn't end up doing all my homework the night before it was due. I really need to work on getting back to that...

I have a psych midterm tomorrow afternoon and I SHOULD be studying but instead of studying I'm watching netflix and thinking about kissing attractive people. I don't want to studdyyyy buut I know I'll be up forever if I don't start now?
