I'm not on reddit. This is all I've got. Last panda standing.

I am still toggling between the two. Reddit seems to always have folks online but not often posting.

Exactly. Right now, I just happened to google something, saw the PPK forum, and was shocked to see it's still up and running. But it's like a ghost town now, so strange.

I laugh at myself because it's still totally a part of my morning routine, and I honestly don't think I'll ever have a morning where I'm awake enough to notice it's gone.

It's the end of the forum as we know it and I feel fine.

I expect to hear the soldiers from Monty Python and the Holy Grail yelling "Bring out your dead!" any moment now.

Such sad news (The forums closing, not Isa's success story!). Thank you, Isa, and all the rest of you, for being here, sharing smiles and tears, recipes and gifs, news about cookbooks and TV shows, and funny "member status" and filters.

But times change, people move on. I'm one of the old farts here (over age 60), and now you're all making me learn how to get on Reddit if I want to keep up with the craziness. I was forced, kicking and screaming, onto Facebook just last year, and don't even own a smartphone, so I hope I can figure it out soon.

Thanks again, everyone.

The biggest problem I have with reddit is that it does not have staying power in my head! I forget and stop caring about everything I read because it all feels like it is dropping off the planet. I can adjust, maybe.

I gave in and joined reddit and I'm surprised that I kind of like it. I do miss avatars though. It's harder for me to keep track of who is saying what without them.

I am slowly coming to terms with reddit. I'm also struggling without avatars, but I quite like the weekly threads.

I'm really starting to like reddit but this hit me hard again today. I thought the ppk would be a permanent fixture in my life forever. This place is like a cyber home

This has been my feeling as well. Plus without the user images I am finding reddit harder to follow but I am slowly getting through it.

So sad! Really gonna miss the cookbook forum!

I'm not on Facebook either, nor want to join.

Thanks Isa for giving us this great venue, I know it has helped me stay vegan

Yes, "cyber home" perfectly describes the way I feel about the PPK. I'm about to become cyber homeless! I'm dragging my feet, but I will join redit.

I'm torn about trying Reddit now that board death seems imminent, not least because I suck at thinking up pseudonyms/usernames that aren't my actual name.

Can I start a petition to redo 2016? I can't even count the number of shitty things that have happened this year and the PPK not being there to complain about them is a huge one :(
