ear worm - http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Earworm

I have got one & cannot get rid of it ... it has been plaguing me since Friday ... does not bother me when there are other sounds, the wireless, someone speaking but when I am in relative silence ... walking down the street, in the bath -

there it is!

"someday maybe Fred will win the fight and that cat will stay out for the night!"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJu8RreAGnM

it will not go away ... I tried to replace it with the theme music from The Honeymooners but limited success ...

sigh ...

I read somewhere that the only way to exorcise a song stuck in your head is to listen to it all the way through. DON'T RESIST!

After I watched both Sister Act movies (?!) over holiday break, I had all of the songs from them in my head for WEEKS! I would wake up to "I will follow hiiiiiim! Follow him wherever heeee may gooo!" It was brutal.
